Terms and Conditions

Spiredream first started trading in 1996.
We have grown into the company that we are today by always putting our customer's first.

Since being in business we have always tried to carry a large range of competitively priced computer peripherals backed with a personal service and support when you the customer most needs it.

Rest assured when you buy anything from us either through eBay or direct be aware for your own piece of mind that we are members of the following major organisations.

1. General Terms and Conditions

A

All products advertised are subject to availability.
B Spiredream Trading give no assurance as to the mutual compatibility of components sold on any single invoice.
C All Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may or may not represent the actual product sold.
D Spiredream Trading remains the full owner of all goods shipped to the buyer until the Spiredream Trading has been paid in full.
E Good sold by Spiredream Trading are not sold on a trial basis.
F All purchase with "Buy it now" must be received within 10 working days
G Spiredream Trading does not accept responsibility for the loss of any software or data stored on any system or storage media handed to Spiredream Trading for inspection, repair, upgrade or other.
H Spiredream Trading does not accept responsibility for any failures to the buyers components within its possession, unless these have been damaged by Spiredream Trading.
I Spiredream Trading accepts the responsibility of incorrectly dispatched goods (i.e goods not matching the specification displayed on the accompanying invoice) if notified to, and agreed by, Spiredream Trading within 7 working days of receipt.    
J Spiredream Trading agrees to pay the dispatch charges of the correct goods. Spiredream Trading does not accept any consequential loss to the consumer during this period and offers no compensation for such.
K Spiredream Trading aims to dispatch all item(s) within 24 - 48 hours of payment being received.
L The prices payable for the Goods that you order are clearly stated. If, by mistake, Spiredream Trading has under-priced any of the Goods Listed, we will not be liable to supply those Goods to you at the stated price, provided that it notifies you before it dispatches the Goods concerned.
M Some of the information displayed about the products on the sale! May have been provided by third parties who are not related to Spiredream ("Third Party Information"). Spiredream is not in any way responsible for incorrect information given for the item and therefore does not guarantee the quality or accuracy of any Third Party Information. 
N This website may also contain links to websites operated by third parties (“Third Parties”) who are not related to Spiredream (“Third Party Web Sites”). These links are provided for convenience only and do not represent any endorsement or approval by Spiredream of those Third Parties or the information, products or services displayed or offered on the Third Party Web Sites.

2. Warranty

A All purchases are sold with one of the following conditions.
  1. All purchases sold as "No Warranty" are sold as seen and are purchased, with out any guarantee of any kind.
  2. All purchases sold as "30 Days Return To Base" are sold with a 30 days return to base warranty.
  3. All purchases sold as "12 Months Return To Base" are sold with a 12 months return to base warranty.
  4. All purchases sold as "6 Months Return To Base" are sold with a 6 months return to base warranty.
  5. All purchases sold as "3 Months Return To Base" are sold with a 3 months return to base warranty.
  6. All other purchases other than stated above will be stated before time of purchase and will be stated clearly within the auction or buy it now sale details.

3. PayPal Payments

A If you live in the UK and if payment is Under £20.00 including VAT, We will accept payments from Un-Verified and Verified PayPal Accounts.
B If you live in the UK then we will accept payments from Verified Paypal accounts for any amount.
C In certain instances, if you provide proof of ID by the way of a Utility bill, Passport or drivers Licence faxed to us on     +44 01367 244557 or emailed to us we can then accept payment from an un-verified Paypal accounts.
D If you live outside the UK and your account is Verified we will despatch your item within 24-48 hours from payment     received.
E If you are outside the UK, we will only accept payment from a Verified Paypal member, if your account isn't Verified, then you will be asked for a alternate, method of payment.
F If we receive a payment by Paypal, we will only despatch to the "Delivery Information Address" stated by Paypal, No Exceptions. This is to protect you.
G We reserve the right to reject any Paypal payment for any reason.

4. Other Payments

A We also accept payment by cheque, but we do have to allow a 5-7 working day, clearance period with our bank - No     Exceptions.
B If payment is made by cheque, if the cheque is returned to us as "BOUNCED" or UN-CLEARED" during the clearance period (which can take up to 30days), we reserve the right to pass on any bank charges incurred by us, to which is payable by the buyer.
C If any payment is returned to the buyer for any reason, after the buyer is in receipt of goods, Spiredream Trading reserves the right to use a debt collection agency, to collect any un-cleared funds, for payment in full, this applies to any payment method including
  1. Paypal Payments
  2. Cheques
  3. Postal Orders
  4. Cash
  5. Bank Transfer
D Any fees incurred by Spiredream Trading, for collection of un-paid funds to Spiredream Trading will be passed to the buyer, this includes, Agency fees, court fees, Solicitors fees, carriage fees, including any other expenses incurred by Spiredream Trading.

5. Delivery

A When receiving deliveries by courier, you will be asked to sign for the as "Goods received in good condition". If you are unable to check the contents of the package at time of delivery, please sign for the parcel as "UNCHECKED". Failure to do so will invalidate any warranty claims that you make thereafter.
B If you deliberately fail to take delivery of the goods (otherwise than by reason of circumstances under control of Spiredream Trading) then without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to Spiredream Trading, Spiredream Trading may
  1. Store the goods until actual delivery and charge you for reasonable costs (including insurance) of storage.
  2. Sell the goods and (after deducting all reasonable storage and selling expenses) account to you for any excess over the price you agreed to pay for the goods or charge you for any shortfall below the price you agreed to pay for the goods.
C Should any item be returned to Spiredream Trading, due to an incorrect address being given by the buyer, the buyer will be responsible for paying an return carriage fees due, before any item/s are re-despatched.
D Spiredream Trading, take no responsibility for an incorrect address being given by the buyer
E For Courier deliveries, if an order is transit and the buyer requests re-direction of their order, this will only be authorised by Spiredream Trading, a re-direction fee will apply, this fee must be paid in full, before Spiredream Trading are able to re-direct any orders in transit.
F For Courier deliveries, they will attempt delivery twice, on two consecutive working days, after which the buyer will need to contact the courier to arrange for a suitable delivery day, alternatively the buyer can also collect the order from their local courier depot.
G  If after 5 Working day the order has not been collected from the local courier depot, the order will be returned, automatically to Spiredream Trading. The full shipping cost would be charged for re-despatch.

6. Returns

A All returns must be paid for by the customer
B Faulty products are to be returned at the buyers expense, via an insured courier, Spiredream Trading does not accept any responsibility for any loss for un-insured returns.
C Spiredream Trading do not operate an advance replacement procedure.
D Spiredream Trading accepts no responsibility for any consequential loss caused to the buyer for the receiving of faulty goods.
E If your product develops a fault, provided the product is within the warranty period. you are entitled to a warranty repair or replacement. If your goods are returned as faulty after 28 days of shipping we reserve the right to return the product to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If this should happen please note normal turnaround time is 21 working days but it could take up to 6 weeks for repair or replacement.
F Spiredream Trading cannot accept any returned goods found to fall into one or more of the following categories:
  1. The goods are in some way physically damaged by the buyer and from wear and tear, damage caused by accident, natural disaster, intentional or accidental misuse, abuse, neglect or improper maintenance, or use under abnormal conditions; damage caused by an external electrical fault or any accident; damage from third party software or from virus(es)
  2. The warranty/serial label is found to have been tampered with or torn
  3. The goods are found not to have been sold to the customer by Spiredream Trading.
  4. The goods are outside the warranty limit.
  5. The goods do not have a corresponding RMA number displayed clearly on the item(s).
  6. The goods returned to Spiredream Trading, that have inadequate packaging will be returned to the buyer at the buyers cost.
  7. Items with bent or broken pins or connectors are deemed user error and are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
  8. A reduction in battery life over time is deemed normal, and is not covered under warranty.
G All products that use batteries, including lithium batteries have a limited number of charge cycles and eventually the battery life will start to shorten, which may result in the battery needing to be changed. Battery life and number of charge cycles vary by use. This means that we are only able to offer a 60-day warranty period on items that have developed problems with their batteries. The 60-day battery warranty period does not count on refurbished items however, as refurbished items may already have a reduced battery life
H Before returning the items, please do the following:
  1. Ensure you have included everything the item(s) came with (e.g. manuals, driver disks, cables etc.)
  2. Package the items securely.
  3. Write the RMA number. clearly on the outside of the packaging. DO NOT write it on the box/packaging the product came in.
  4. We recommend that you send the items back with a service that records the delivery and gets a signature from us upon delivery.
I Testing your item(s) - When we receive returned item/s we will test them as quickly as possible. We endeavour to test and resolve all returned items within a maximum of 10 days; however our usual turn around time is within a week. If your items are tested as faulty we will do the following:-
  1. If the item(s) are discontinued, we will offer a replacement of equal or better specification, or a refund representing the current value of the item at our discretion.
  2. If the item(s) is/are found to be working, we will return them to you. A return carriage fee will apply and there may be a testing fee of £12.00.
J Unwanted goods - You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days, after you receive the goods. The goods must have been kept in perfect condition and no seals broken. Should the item not be fit for re-sale (in original New condition, un-used and un-opened), including computer software which has been unsealed by the buyer, or for consumable goods of which you may not return the goods, unless the goods are faulty.
K A 15% restocking fee may apply to returned goods (N.B. This "does not" apply to faulty goods)
L An RMA number must be obtained before any item  is sent back to Spiredream Trading. To return a product, please email Spiredream Trading at emma.spiredream@btconnect.com
M When Spiredream is ready and willing to deliver the goods, and requests the buyer to take delivery, if the buyer does not take delivery of the goods within a reasonable time after such request, he is liable to the seller for any loss occasioned by his/her neglect or refusal to take delivery, and as such is liable for a reasonable charge for the care and custody of the goods. If a delivery request is rejected by the customer, a letter will be sent specifying that the goods are ready for collection, the address the goods can be collected from and cost of handling, delivery etc., also the customer will be informed that the goods will be only be held for 3 months after which time they will be disposed off.

7. Postage

A

Buyer pays actual postage charged.
B We ship to the UK only, unless stated otherwise.
C A small fee is included in the postage to cover packaging materials.
D We will combine postage on multiply purchases.
E Buyer pays all postage cost's when returning goods, unless agreed prior to returning goods.

F Insured for full amount of item.
G Guaranteed before 5.30pm next day If payment is received by 2.30pm.
H (No weekend delivery).
   
  IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
I Signature on delivery. Please ensure that someone is available all day to take delivery. We will not be held responsible for un-delivered parcels and if un-delivered customer will be charged again for delivery.

will not refund or replace any lost or damaged items.
